Real-time flood warning, from rain gauge to operations center
HydroLynx builds the complete chain — field stations, radio telemetry, repeaters, receivers and software — that delivers hydrological data the moment a storm hits, so your agency can act before water does.
Measure rainfall
Self-contained tipping-bucket stations that report every millimeter of rain in real time.
Rain stations →Measure water level
Stream stage, reservoir and channel level stations with submersible pressure sensors.
Level stations →Measure weather
Wind, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and precipitation in one station.
Weather stations →Measure water quality
Temperature, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen and turbidity, plus water level.
Water-quality stations →Build or extend a network
Transmitters, repeaters, radios and receivers — the backbone of an ALERT2 system.

One network, three jobs
Every flood-warning system does the same three things: measure conditions in the field, move the data by radio, and receive it where decisions are made. HydroLynx manufactures every link in that chain.
ALERT2 radio paths shown dashed. Stations report on event and timed schedules; repeaters extend coverage across terrain; the base station decodes data for NovaStar5 or your SCADA system.
Why ALERT2
The current national standard for flood-warning telemetry
ALERT2 is the protocol adopted by the National Hydrologic Warning Council. Compared with legacy ALERT it adds GPS-synchronized TDMA time slots so reports never collide, forward error correction so data survives weak signals, and roughly four times the data rate.
Every HydroLynx station is built in both versions — /A2 models for ALERT2 networks, and legacy models for existing ALERT systems you aren't ready to migrate. When you are ready, field-installable upgrade kits bring your existing transmitters forward without replacing them.
Why HydroLynx
Engineered for mission-critical monitoring
⚡ Real-time by design
Event-driven reporting means data arrives during the storm, when it matters — not on the next polling cycle.
🛡️ Field-proven hardware
Low-power stations built for years of unattended operation in remote, harsh environments, on battery and solar.
🔗 Open integration
VHF/UHF radio, cellular, satellite and IP pathways; SDI-12 sensors; SCADA and NovaStar5 software compatibility.
🤝 Complete supplier
The broadest ALERT/ALERT2 portfolio in the industry, backed by ISG Devices — one accountable vendor from sensor to screen.
